Annette Merlino, D.M.D.
established her Gentle Family Dentistry
practices in Delmont and the Kiski area over 15
years ago.
Dr. Merlino graduated from
Geneva College in 1985 and received her dental
degree from the University of Pittsburgh in
1988. After graduation, she practiced dentistry
for 4 months in Kenya and continues to take a
few short mission trips each year.
Dr. Merlino has lectured
at the 3 Rivers Dental Conference and at the
International Medical Missions Conference of
Mission To the World. She has been published in
the MTW Medical Missions Manual. She frequently
speaks to local groups about dentistry and her
mission trips.
Annette is a former
president of the Westmoreland County Dental
Society, former president of the Kiwanis Club of
Vandergrift, and was selected as Woman of the
Year by the Pittsburgh Woman’s Business Network.
Her husband, Thomas Felmley
works part-time with Mission to the World in
Disaster Response Ministry. Their mission work
has taken them to Belize, Chile, China, Congo,
Guatemala, Honduras, India, Peru, Thailand, and
the list goes on.
Both Annette and Tom were
born and raised in the Pittsburgh area and now
reside in Delmont.
